It feels so good to be back to work photographing weddings for amazing couples once again! We met Dianne and Forrest at the Committed Bridal show back in 2019, and we had an immediate connection. Hearing about our approach towards photographing weddings, our passion for creating something special and unique for all of our clients caught their attention, and they secured us for their date in 2020 for their Oregon Vineyard Wedding. Like many others, they made the decision to wait to have their celebration until they felt the time was right, but that day has finally come and gone, and we were so honored to be there with them.
Their wedding was at Wonser Woods Estate in Estacada, Oregon. Wonser woods is surrounded by young Christmas trees as well as a vineyard, and is an absolutely spectacular venue. Jean Wonser was an absolute pleasure. She immediately introduced herself, showed us around the property, and helped us throughout the day with anything we needed. This was also our first wedding working with Julie of Gratitude Event Planning, and she absolutely delivered. We knew even before arriving that things were on the right track, as she sent out preliminary timelines and checked in with us to make sure everything would work on our end. It may seem small, but these kinds of little details set the good wedding coordinators apart from the great. On the day of things went fantastically, the venue and their reception space were gorgeous.
Dianne and Forrest were surrounded by their closest friends and family members, and it felt like everyone already knew each other. We love when family and friends are helping put together spaces, lending a hand with this or that, and just being generally helpful. It creates a good energy that brings everyone together, and it filters down from the bride and groom. Dianne and Forrest are two amazing souls whose friendliness and compassion are meant for each other, that much was clear to us by the end of their amazing wedding day.
We had fun creating this sneak peek preview of their collection, and experimenting with some interesting new creative techniques for them. We hope you enjoy some of these favorites from their wedding day – and THANK YOU once again to Dianne and Forrest, you two are amazing!
