Marias Beach Wedding

This beautiful Marias Beach wedding ended with a splash in the outdoor swimming pool.

Rebecca and Michaels Marias Beach wedding in Rincon, Puerto Rico was a multi day celebration. Their ceremony was held in the Catholic Church in the Pueblo of Rincon with their reception following at Maria’s Beach, their private Villa. The following Monday they hosted a Mermaid Parade and invited the entire town of Rincon to join in a celebratory parade followed by music and dancing at Casa Verde.

Rebecca and Michael manage a bar in Rockaway Beach, NY and many of their guests were close friends and loyal customers. These well seasoned partiers brought their A game for this wedding weekend. Fun costumes and party toys were in full effect during their Marias Beach wedding reception and the Mermaid parade. One of the things we really appreciated about their wedding was how they scheduled their events. They kicked off the celebrations with a Thursday night rehearsal dinner, the wedding was on Saturday and the Mermaid Parade was on Sunday. Adding a day in between the scheduled events meant that guests had a chance to recover from the festivities and explore Rincon on their own.

Maria’s Beach Luxury Villa, Rincon Puerto Rico

This 8 bedroom villa is divided into two sides Ramons side and Marias side. Perfect for separating the bride and groom on wedding day or separating families with children from rowdier guests.

The Villa is located directly on the beach, just walk through the yard around the pool and through the private gate and your feet will be on the sand. We love this venue because its so easy to quickly step aside to do beautiful sunset beach portraits without having to leave the venue.

Marias Beach wedding ceremonies are usually held on the lawn out front or on the beach. Rebecca and Michael had their ceremony in a church and returned to the Villa for their reception.

The outdoor pool at Maria’s Beach is big enough for everyone to have fun in. Float candles in it for a romantic look during a reception or fill it with fun pool toys. By the end of Rebecca and Michaels reception almost everyone was in the pool! If you think your guests might end up in the pool late night let us know.
